Freezer full of ice - never managed or defrosted. We had a hard time to actually defrost it and make it work properly! The cleanliness is far from ok, so this place is fine for 1 night but definitely not for more. I live in Spain for many years and I know how a hotel should be, so don't even dare to reply! Fix this place!

Avoid at All Costs – Unhygienic, Damp, and Zero Accountability Our stay at Apartamentos Privados con Jardín y Barbacoa Compartida en Laredo from May 19th to 23rd was by far the worst accommodation experience we’ve ever had — both physically and mentally. From the start, the communication was appalling. Despite reaching out numerous times, we only received instructions on how to access the apartment 20 minutes before arrival, leaving us stressed and uncertain during our entire travel day. Once inside, the condition of the apartment was shocking and completely unacceptable: • Visible mould in multiple rooms, including sleeping areas, made the space feel hazardous. • The entire apartment was damp, including the beds. Our clothes and towels became musty, and the air inside was foul. • The fridge was filthy, matching the overall neglect of the property. • Basic cleanliness was ignored — floors, surfaces, bathrooms, and furnishings were clearly not cleaned before our arrival. After staying in such poor conditions for five nights, I left feeling unwell, likely due to the mould and dampness. This was not just disappointing — it was a health risk. We raised a formal complaint and requested a refund, providing photo evidence of the issues. The host refused to take any accountability and flat-out denied even a partial refund. This complete disregard for guest welfare and basic hospitality standards is appalling. Do yourself a favor: avoid this property entirely. It’s not worth the risk to your health, comfort, or peace of mind

Very humid, did not smell nice and pillows need double covers, smelt bad.

The dishwasher and oven didn’t work and we had zero response from the property owners. We only realized the oven wasn’t working when trying to cook pizzas that had to be thrown away. The outside area was overgrown and we were unable to access the advertised barbecue. No hairdryer. No bath mat that made for stepping onto a tiled floor quite dangerous. No kettle and a very poor and small coffee machine - not suitable for the size of the property. No obvious smoke or CO2 detectors.
