“Excellent apartment in a great location”

The best

This is a great place to stay to explore the local area, towns and coastline. It only takes 5 minutes to drive to the autovia and less than that to get to a lovely viewpoint and lighthouse or the small town of Oviana with a couple of good restaurants/bars. We enjoyed exploring the area by car and took a train to Gijon (from Pravia), also San Pedro beach nearby is excellent and we had two lovely evenings - one in local cafe/restaurant and another by the lighthouse (walked down a steep path to a secluded beach and had a delicious burger and cocktails at a food truck). It's possible to borrow bikes from the house. The apartment was comfortable and we took advantage of a terrace right outside our window to have meals or just relax. Patricia was very friendly and efficient so we had lots of information before we arrived and she met us promptly when we arrived. She was quick to respond to a problem we had with the electricity supply stopping the hob working (for some reason!). She knew how to fix it.

To be improved

Only small things...it would have been nice to have some comfy chairs we could sit outside on, the kitchen area was a bit small and didn't have storage space for food that didn't go in the fridge (we were staying for a week and had brought dry goods with us), we were surprised how noisy the roof could be when the temperature was heating up or cooling down (loud creaks and bangs - this was noticeable particularly at night but didn't stop us sleeping much)
