“Ideal stay for a family vacation and lovely host”

We spent a fantastic week at Apartamentos La Escapada. The house is very comfortable, it has everything you need and the private garden is perfect for a family with small children. The common garden also provides many activities to keep the kids entertained for long time. And the hospitality of Yoli is priceless. You see she does her best to make you feel at home and make your stay as comfortable as possible. And she excels in that! From the apartments you are at a short ride from the beach and approximately 1-1.5h from Picos de Europa. A great stay between mountain and beach.

“The perfect escape!”

The location of these apartments is fabulous - in the countryside, not far from the sea, but close to small town for shopping. You do need a car for this location. It is also within easy driving reach of Gijon and Oviedo, and several beautiful beaches and attractions. Despite the rural location there are a number of restaurants within walking distance of the property. Each of the four units has its own enclosed garden with lockable gates (added safety was great, as our youngest has additional needs). There is a well kept communal garden area with toys and a trampoline. The delightful saltwater swimming pool was a major highlight for me. It is immaculately kept and so peaceful! You can see the Atlantic from the pool and listen to the chickens and cockerels. Yoli, our host, was exceptional and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I particularly enjoyed the bottle of local cider she left in the apartment on arrival and the fresh eggs from the hens onsite. We had the 3 bedded townhouse. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully arranged. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a rural escape, that isn't too far from the bustle and charm of major Asturian cities.
