“Great location, very modern and clean!”

The best

The apartment was very clean & modern! The host communicated days before so arrival was very easy. There was 4 of us staying for 3 nights and plenty of room with the double bed and the sofa bed which was very spacious. It was fully stocked with cooking equipment and some drinks were left in the fridge for us. The TV also was really handy! The location was great, a Lidl was within eyesight of the front door, the pool just a 1 minute walk away. We walked to the beach / beach bars twice and it was about a 15 minute walk away. A taxi into Malaga town was about 10-15 minutes also, the water park was nearby and the airport was very close! There were some nice bars down the street too. The property felt safe and secure. It had great aircon and shutters which really helped keep the property cool and dark at night.

To be improved

The pool situation was a bit confusing. The sign on the pool read the opening times but we had to translate. From what I understand, it is open in the week from 4:30pm-8:30pm. Then on weekends, 11:30am-4:30pm. We stayed from a Thursday - Sunday and wanted to do a pool day Friday but couldn’t as it was shut until late afternoon. We swapped our plans to come back to the pool Saturday but were informed it was only 2 pool cards per apartment, one pool card being needed per person. We explained to the lifeguard that there was 4 of us staying but only 2 cards for the apartment. He lets us in that time but said the next time we went, we would need one card per person. Something to consider if you are a larger group. Secondly, when we woke up after our first night (Friday morning), we were awoken by very loud construction. It seems they are building or renovating the apartment 2 along from us but it was behind our apartment so very noisy. Luckily, the work stopped over the weekend but had out trip have been all weekdays, I’m not sure if this would’ve continued!

Great location from airport to flat, 10 mins only and into the centre of town 10 mins only both by bus located right outside the flat.

To be improved

Sadly the pool was closed, it seems is only available during the summer. I imagine this wouldn't be a problem with an hotel.
