Everything was okay and the host was responsive (make sure to message via WhatsApp in advance).

However, the location is quite poor — it’s a residential area far from main attractions and places to go.

“Great apartment but up a very steep hill”
The best

Good size. Quiet location. Good check-in and checkout times. Nice little bar for breakfast a short walk away. Easy downhill walk into the main part of town. Lift to upper floors. Very secure.

To be improved

Main shutter to the balcony was jammed half-open so we couldn't get onto the balcony. No mirror in the bathroom. Bathroom door very fiddly to open from the inside! No kettle. Parking nearby almost impossible. No warning of just how steep the area is. Difficult for older people or those with any mobility problems.

The best

I'm 74 year-old. Had to wait out almost 1 hour. No possible to get in before completing registration on line which for me was no possible. At end via phone call. When companies in charge it's problematic.

To be improved

See above. Then no basic facilities No toilet paper! No soap.
