Apartamentos Tamaragua

Old, dirty apartments, poor cleaning, poor kitchen stuff, dirty towels, noisy beds. Toilet seat powerless. Only good things were situation and spacy apartement. No way three stars hotel.

Visited already more years and always satisfied but now it was a bit worse than before; different things in apartment broken and very old, water of swimming pool not heated anymore and worst of all the bar. Unbelievable, every order was wrong or something forgotten. Even with simple drinks. Every order took more than half an hour to an hour. This would never had happened with Giovanni. Wish he was back again.

As others have said it looks like one of the older apartment blocks but don’t assume that’s a problem. There were some areas needing maintenance that meant it wasn’t perfect, but they also weren’t a problem. My room was meticulously clean, and serviced three times in my 7-night stay. It does lack air conditioning, but could be ventilated well so it wasn’t an issue. The pool area gets sun all day and is lifeguarded until 6pm. The bar serves a good selection of snacks Tuesday-Saturday and if you want something else to eat, the Red Cow, the Yumbo centre and the beach area are all within 10 minutes’ walk. Cita is a bit further away, but still close enough to walk. Its location is excellent. If I could be sure I wouldn’t have a ground floor apt, I’d happily go back.

Pool, people, location.

Location is close to yumbo centre but also not far from beach front. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and had a safe.

Very kind and helpful staff. Always smiling and welcoming.
