“Spacious comfortable flat in jaw-dropping location, opposite the Temple of Diana.”
Stunning location, with the Temple of Diana directly opposite our windows. The apartment was spacious, with good-sized living and sleeping areas and a large bathroom. We stayed as a couple, but it wouldn't be overcrowded with another two on the sofa-bed. We never met the hosts, but entry via front-door and apartment key-codes was easy. There's a small but well-stocked supermarket 30m away and many restaurants nearby. The other major tourist sites - the amazing Roman theatre and amphitheatre and the superb National Museum of Roman History - are 5-10 mins walk away. The aqueduct de los milagros is 20 mins walk, but it is also well-worth taking a longer (30 min) walk through the park by the river to get there - visiting in early May we came across an impressive breeding colony of glossy ibises and egrets.
If you like to get to bed early and are a light sleeper, this is not the accommodation for you. There's a large and, on Friday and Saturday nights at least, busy restaurant next to the Temple of Diana, and there is loud chatter outside till 1am. Then the street-cleaners arrive at 6am. The windows are not double-glazed so sound insulation is minimal. Adopt a Spanish day-night cycle and you'll be fine though - it's worth it for the view.
“Majitele se hodně snažili. Poloha dobrá. · Cons: Extraordinary noise from the square from 7:30 to midnight and at 5:00 am street cleaners' engines. Beware of Booking. Check the photos of confirmed rooms with the owner. Booking confirmed the view of the monument to us, but did not know about it. But he was willing to change it because it was not occupied. The door to the balcony is broken and the light in the bedroom did not work. The defects were so serious that the owner did not have time to fix them between stays.”

“Really great location, busy in the daytime.”
Clean. Great location for getting to nearby attractions. Hostess was immediately available for my questions. Very quick to respond.
It is right at the Temple of Diana with lots of activities going on. It was fine at night, quieted down around nine or ten. During the day, however, lots of noise with amplified music, discussions with authors over PA system, etc.
“Breath taking view of Temple of Diana and the best hosts ever!”
This property was a delight to deal with. They were proactive communicators, kind and helpful, and I wished every host was like them! The view was FANTASTIC and the location is perfect right in the heart of the roman ruins. My teenagers slept on the sofa bed - which was more like a futon-style to their American minds - and said it was one of the most comfortable sofa beds they've ever slept on.
Our room was very cold when we entered, but there is an overhead heater, a space heater in the living room and a space heater in the bathroom so we used those to warm it up.
“Third time I’ve stayed. Great location”
