Beautifully refurbished character village house. Great air con ( necessary!); comfortable with everything you need including a washing machine .

To be improved

Wasn’t easy to find - would’ve appreciated some directions before arrival. Aracena has lots of narrow cobbled one way streets so if you take a wrong turn you are totally lost. On street parking an issue in high season. Didn’t like the shower not being to the wall - it was a hand held affair which isn’t ideal . The kitchen also didn’t have hot water for some reason . The appartment was a bit further from the centre than I would’ve liked - especially in the heat! And the owners/ people who came out to me didn’t speak English which made communication a bit hard .

“Spacious apartment in good location - maybe better in hot summer weather”

Spacious apartment with a good layout Good location bars etc nearby and easy walk into town centre Aracena is a good base for hill walking with plenty of facilities Don't miss the caves

To be improved

It was quite cold inside and there is nowhere to sit outside - which was warmer !

The best

The apartment is large and decorated with Spanish colours and tiles, Very charming! Good location - easy to walk to all areas of town. Yerba was very accommodating and let us into the apartment early. He used a map of the city streets to suggest some tourist sites and some interesting bars, tapas, etc. A Spar grocery store is a 10 min. walk away.

To be improved

There was only one large pillow the width of the bed which we, I guess, were expected to share. The apartment was always on the cooler side despite having the heat on.

“Hiking in Sierra de Aracena.”

It was a big spacious apartment. Kitchen was well equipped apart from not having an oven.

To be improved

There is no outside space to enjoy. The ensuite bathroom had a shower over the bath which I found very slippery. Could do with placing a bath mat for use.
