“Large, comfortable modern apartment in an excellent location, with charming hosts.”

The best

Location was superb. Easy to find, easy to park, choice of two supermarkets opposite and excellent fruit shop next door. Nice and quiet despite being on the main road into town, and an easy walk to the historic centre, restaurants, shops etc. Well placed for hiking trails, the cable car at Fuente De, and enjoying the wonderful scenery and landscapes (we did have a car and fuel was available a couple of miles down the road, but there were buses and taxis too). The apartment was spacious, and generally very well equipped. The wifi worked well. Two large bathrooms were great to have, and the washing machine and dishwasher were also very welcome. There was a nice big fridge freezer too. We stayed during a major heatwave but the apartment has underfloor cooling (as well as heating in the winter) which kept us nice and comfortable.

To be improved

Minor niggles only. The biggest of those was that the 'simmer' setting on the stovetop did not simmer - it boiled up every half minute or so and spattered hot liquid (even if you had a lid on the pan), then subsided for a moment and did it again. We assumed it was just a design fault but should perhaps have queried it in case it can be fixed! For some reason there was no frying pan provided (we found the supermarkets sell them). At times we heard people moving about in the flat above us but they were not obtrusive and observed the 'quiet hours'. None of this would stop us coming back or have any hesitation in recommending the accommodation warmly to our friends and relatives.

We’re Party of 4 motorcyclist there for week , our hosts meet us early & aloud us entry, they also have a shop which they kindly opened for us to grab a few item ( it’s was a Sunday afternoon & we’d just missed to supermarket 🤦‍♂️) . Lovely garages for bikes , couldn’t of asked for more , will definitely visit again
