“Perfect location, but the apartment looks old and needs to be renovated”

The best

The location is very good, close to the beach, in a quiet area. The canal view from the balcony is beautiful. The kitchen utilities and dishware are fine. We cooked breakfasts and had everything we needed for it. The staff is pleasant and friendly.

To be improved

The one-bedroom apartment looks much worse than on the pictures on booking.com. Everything is very old. The once white towels are ugly yellow, the toilet and the shower look old and disgusting. The shower cabin is broken and misses a door, so when you take a shower, the toilet and the floor in the bathroom get all wet. The walls are very thin. You can hear the neighbours all the time, especially, when they move chairs on the tiled floor. When neighbours smoke on the balcony, the cigarette smoke gets inside the room despite the closed balcony door. Judging by how the apartment looks, the price for it is way too high. When you pay almost a monthly rent for 4 days, you expect the apartment at least to be cleaner and to have nice fresh towels... Basically, you pay for a good location only.

The best

Perfect location right by the beach, near shops, bars and restaurants. A lovely beachfront walk into the port or an easy short bus ride. Family friendly comfortable apartments good value for money! The travel cot and high chair provided were comfortable for our 8 month old baby. The air conditioning is amazing too.
