“Lovely and functional apartment. Beware high additional charges for extra services”
The best

The location is within walking distance of the dive sites. The garden was beautifully kept, with friendly cats elsewhere. The hosts were very friendly and responsive, doesn’t speak English but we were able to communicate through Google translate.

To be improved

Beware the hidden charges. We locked ourselves out one evening as the old fashioned door locks itself when you close it, and the owner had to drive an hour from the other side of the island to let us in. We were charged 40 Euros for this. We were also charged 20 Euros for using the washing machine, without detergent provided. I’m The facilities were basic, we had to be creative with cooking with limited utensils, but we made it work. We had to purchase washing up liquid, bin bags, toilet paper. For the cheap price we paid for this apartment, this was okay, just initially taken aback by how much we had to pay extra for additional services. There was only a small drying rack. The village has no restaurants and only one, highly overpriced shop. The closest shopping location is Valverde, which is 15 minutes drive away.

“Relaxing and peaceful”
The best

It's a lovely quiet and peaceful location, but there's not much to do if you don't have a car. The bus goes to the capital about 4/5 times a day where you can connect to other areas. There are 3 swimming pools of varying depths by the ocean, 5 / 10 mins walk from the accommodation which are lovely, but no toilets or cafes. There is one restaurant in the village which opens until 4pm, and one shop where you can get most things, but triple the price of the supermarkets in the capital. It's a great place to relax and the staff are very friendly and helpful! And there are 3 lovely cats!

“Beautiful place to stay!”
The best

The garden & the view were amazing. I enjoyed watching sunrises from the patio. The apartment itself was also very cozy. And a short walk to the pool & seaside!

To be improved

The kitchen could use a few more things like a proper knife and breakfast bowls.
