“A relaxing stay.”
Luis is a great host it was a very personal experience. Quiet location, parked our cycles indoors, very relaxing.
Property is hidden away, a bit difficult to find.
“Beautiful house and lovely host. Will definitely go back.?”
Very helpful host. Beautiful property. Large bedroom and ensuite. Very comfortable and lovely garden for our dog to have a wander around. Lovely views of the surrounding countryside. 20 minutes into Santander which is great for a stopover for our dog to see the vet for her worming and to catch the ferry. Great breakfast and village a 5 minutes drive for dinner.
“The owner will make anything to make you happy.”
The owner is so nice, we arrived by walk from 25km on the Camino del Norte: he offered a beer and the for free and drive us the 2km to the city to eat in a bar
A little old school, and no wifi in the rooms
“Mapi was very friendly and welcoming. We were offered drinks on check in. We were also offered feeding bowls, bed, and a blanket for our little dog. Mapi also directed us to the nearest restaurant for dinner. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a large walled off garden so we could walk our dog without fear of her getting out. It was very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was very good. · Cons: Unfortunately, it got very cold in the night . Because of this, we struggled to sleep. This was not the owners fault, but if staying in the early spring or winter it might be wise to ask for an extra blanket.”

“Great alternative to hotels in mostly - industrial Santander.”
Beautifully renovated home, now B&B in a quaint village close to Santander. Warm, gracious host.
“Beautiful and very enjoyable posada with a friendly welcome”
This holiday apartment is one of the more comfortable and enjoyable stays I had on my trip. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. Beautiful balcony overlooking a nice view, with chairs to sit on. The bathroom was big and well-equipped. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was included and was nice and rich. The host was very nice and offered me a ride back to town, since the apartment was off-route for my Camino.
Walking the Camino, it was far from the route, but as I mentioned, I was offered a ride back, by my host. Otherwise, it’s a km away from the Camino, which isn’t too far (unless you’re walking on the variant)
