Apartamentos Zocosol by Toledo AP

The photos is misleading as we were ground floor and not top floor!

This had to be the most disgusting and bizarre experience I ever had renting anything. To start off the entire apartment was infested with cockroaches,they were everywhere in the kitchen, room, bathroom even crawling next to the ceiling (!?), I contacted the host about it and got told that it's just normal because there is cockroaches infestation in the city (?), I rented over 10 different apartments this year in Toledo including two different ones the same week I stayed at this place and I never seen a single cockroach, but apparently it's this apartment standard so be aware that there will be additional guests with you in the apartment(see pictures, sadly I couldn't upload more ). Speaking about additional guests. I was in the bed while I heard somebody opening the apartment door and a second later there were 3 people entering the apartment (!!!!), no knocking or anything, it turned out that two of them were tourists from Bristol in the UK. I contacted the host about it and got told that these people were let into the apartment because they thought I requested towels. Yes. British pensioners from Bristol who came to Toledo for sightseeing got access and entered my apartment to bring me towels (!?). So not only did the host give other guests access to the apartment I rented, but later on came up with the most ridiculous and bizarre excuse. Be very careful when you leave your belongings inside, because you never know who will get an access code from the host. To summarise, if you love cockroaches, no privacy, being treated like an idiot and to be woken up by strangers, this apartment is your best option!

The downstairs bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could feel every spring in the mattress and the mattress was very soft, sagging. The upstairs loft was very unsafe for our 8 year old children. There was no railing around the loft, with a 7ft drop to a hard floor. Also, the main room has maybe 14ft ceilings, with the bed located in the loft. When it is cold outside and you run the heat, in order to get the living area at a comfortable temperature, the loft area then becomes very hot and our children had a very hard time sleeping.

If u have someone older in the group, its very difficult to go up and down the ladder like steps in the apartment.

All ok no real problems.
