“I had an amazing adventure in Calafell during the High Rockabilly event.”

The best

I was unsure how to get into the room as I was traveling from San Francisco over 2 days and arrived late at night. The property manager was waiting for me at the door when I arrived. Thank you so much!

To be improved

There was nothing I didn't like in the property. The shower door was a little flimsy, but it was not a big problem. I had a wonderful stay in Calafell thanks to the manager, who explained everything to me when I arrived.

“Spacious apartment. A convenient window from the kitchen to the living room. Near the sea. Good sandy beach. · Cons: There are no air conditioners in the bedrooms. Air conditioner only in the living room area. There is not even salt and sugar in the kitchen. There are no trash bags, no toilet paper, no soap, no laundry detergent... everything has to be bought. Walls do not protect against noise. Noise from the stairwell and all sounds from the neighbors. No double wash basin as pictured. There is no coffee machine as written in the description. Does not change towels.”

“Calafel, Montserrat, Barcelona, Tarrogona trip”

Close to beach, short walk to big supermarket. Plenty going on. Train station short walk, bus stop next to railway station. No rowdy drunks, family type area.Pizzeria Giuseppe restaurant on front, very good food. The owner Svetlana very patient and understanding of teenagers rants and what parents have to put up with. Kitchen had a fridge freezer, microwave, toaster,a bonus a washing machine, dishwasher which we didnt use,mop bucket, brush and pan, a coffee pot that heats up on hob, took Pedro (relative)a few seconds to explain how to work it .a safe in cupboard in bedroom. Owner will help as much as she can to make your stay a pleasant one.

Not very many parking spaces, parking meters not english friendly, but phone them and they send staff out to help you at the meter brilliant. only 2 people max on balcony, ideal for 2 guests , 4 you have to make sofa bed up, which was solid for my bad back, making me change my mattress at home for a firm one. I didn't like that wine cost approx €2.50 compared to £7.00 at home. English tax problem. There were a couple of broken floor tiles by kitchen, , shower could do with clean sealant round tray, but not a problem. Overall a nice place to stay and would return.

“Great!”

The best

The airco was really really nice, worked very properly. Wifi was also very good, good coverage and worked all the time. (With 3 teenagers, that is a big plus) Nice beds, good bathroom and very close to the beach. Also great that we could park in the parking garage, that was really great. Our hostess, Svetlana, was very friendly and helped us with all our questions.

To be improved

The appartment is fine, it had all the utilities you need, also in the kitchen (dishwasher, big fridge, etc). All the basics are there, maybe a bit outdated but for us very practical and a nice place to visit Barcelona as well as the beach nearby. One small point of complaint is that we could hear the neighbor snore, but we were tired enough so we fell asleep nonetheless.
