To be improved

We had a bad experience at this property. The property was comfortable but quite small, not a superior 2 bedroom apartment as described. Small shower room and kitchen area. Would have been a real squash for 4 people. We were upset that the description of the property was not accurate as the pool was a 7-10 minute walk from the property in another large villa complex. If we had known this we would not have booked this property - there was no mention of this when we booked - one time we turned up to try to use the pool and the door was locked so we could not get in. There was no "sun terrace" (as no direct light) so we couldn't sit in sun and there were no direct views and no BBQ facilities. We were disappointed because there was restricted natural light to the property and the terrace was behind the main wall of the building which made the flat quite dark. There was a restricted view from the terrace to the exterior and the main exit corridor for the block was straight past out terrace so we did not feel like sitting there due to lack of privacy with people walking past to their appts. We discussed this with Josep the manager who was not very sympathetic he said we could leave early and he would refund us - we agreed to leave a day early and have still not been refunded c 150 euros - he avoids our calls and Booking.com have emailed him requesting the refund but still no refund. He obviously had no intention of ever refunding us. As a result we are taking this complaint to the EDR platform for dispute resolution.
