ApartEasy - Central Barcelona Studio Apartment

Not recommended The apartment was a disappointment. It was dirty, the bathroom walls were sticky, and we even saw a cockroach. The shower was so filthy we didn’t want to use it. It smelled strongly of mold, probably because the apartment is actually located in the basement. The bed squeaked with every movement, the air conditioning didn’t cool but heated the room instead, and all the kitchen utensils were dirty. Starting at 6 AM, the cleaning lady made loud noise filling buckets with water – and did it again around 8 AM. Sleeping in was impossible. Also, the apartment looks much better and cleaner in the photos than it really is. The only positive was the central location in a nice and safe neighborhood – but that alone doesn’t make up for everything else. I definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

Bad aircondition.

The apartment is in the basement. I don't have a problem with that, but the sound isolation is literally 0. One window is looking at the hallway. You can hear the neighbors passing. Every morning at around 5 AM someone was making noise in the hallway next to the apartment door, and we couldn't sleep well. The worst thing is the main bed. It is so bad. You are sleeping in the angle. Not comfortable at all. To the owner, please buy the new bed, you can buy it for less than 300$. Also, you can put the better window with the sound isolation for the hallway for less than 200$.
