“Well Run, Good Value Accommodation”
The best

This Aparthotel worked really well for us, the location being very convenient for both the train station and Barcelona Race Circuit. The accommodation, whilst modest, fulfilled all needs. It’s nothing flash to look at, and the neighbourhood is workaday, but it does a good job for the money. Off-site paid parking is available, though we did manage (albeit at a push some nights) to find on-street parking close by. Our room was the Superior Studio category and we were very happy with it - being spacious and well laid out, but most crucially, awash with natural light. Further upsides included the excellent shower, comfy bed, decent wardrobe space, ample sockets, and great Wifi. We didn’t self cater, but the kitchenette was a bonus, providing us with a fridge for fresh milk and a kettle for that crucial morning cuppa. Staff on reception were friendly, and very efficient in responding to pre-stay emails. Breakfast was a decent buffet spread for the price. The in-house restaurant is called Arrels and we dined there on a couple of evenings, it opens from 8pm for dinner, earlier than many other eateries. Food was good value but a mixed bag in that we had dishes ranging from poor to ok to excellent. Staff had limited English but were friendly enough. The downside of the hotel for us, and the reason for a 4 rather than a 5, is that it lacks a bar. You can get a drink from 7pm in theory, but there is no proper designated bar area.....and we always had to chase for a drink, indeed we actually had to knock on the kitchen door to flush someone out to take our drinks order!! It would be great if the hotel improved this side of things.

“Great hotel in a great location!”
The best

I stayed at this hotel for a week with my family. This hotel was great. They have a 24 hour reception desk. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I loved that the rooms not only had a refrigerator, but also a kitchen to cook food. There is a Aldi supermarket maybe 3 blocks down next to a McDonald's and Burger King. There are many restaurants in the area. I encourage people to walk around the neighborhood. It was safe for us to walk around with no worries. There is a small park across the street. The hotel was 3-4 blocks down from the Granollers Centre train station. It takes you right into the Barcelona center in 20-30 minutes. The trains runs pretty frequently. You could definitely take a train or two from the airport or take a taxi to the hotel. I would recommend maybe the train from the airport if you are not arriving too late in the night or early in the morning. The taxi from the airport at 11pm was pretty expensive. Overall, I loved this hotel. The staff was great and we loved our room. My oldest daughter had her own room. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

“Great location. Good staff. Safe and simple.”
The best

This hotel is really good for its location. Rooms are big and comfy. Everything is neat and clean. Staff is prompt and caring and always ready to answer questions. Its really a small walk from main train station called Granollers Center. On the way from station to this hotel, are few small restaurants with nice food. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Bathrooms are specious and equipped with everything that one needs. While there is no downside to it, the breakfast is really boring with same and limited menu every day. Good for family staying who wants to visit Barcelona and La Roca and other attractions in the vicinity.

“I need to be brutally honest....”
The best

I booked here after a recommendation from somebody I know who lives in the area. The only decent thing about this hotel is the location. It's easy to walk to the train station and the town centre - so great for dinner and getting the train into BCN. In terms of the rooms - I'm confused as to where the positive reviews have come from... The Aircon / heating system cannot be used to your liking, it's either on or off which meant I had very hot nights. The TV is only viewable from the tiny sofa and not the beds... The ironing board is an absolute joke! Couldn't even iron socks on it if you wanted to. The kitchenette was falling apart - I avoided using it. There is a bath but with no taps so you have to fill it with the shower...? The hairdryer in the bathroom is terrible. There's also a very odd smell in the bathroom. Shampoo not topped up once during a 5 day stay. Also, the bottled water was a nice touch, when it was replaced ONCE. The room itself just looked a little bit empty and filled with cheap furniture. The windows are nowhere near thick enough to block out street noise either. There was an interconnecting door to the next room so I could hear everything they were saying and their cubpoads slamming all night. On a positive, there is no need for you to set an alarm or arrange a wake up call because the inconsiderate clientele blast music as loud as they can before 6 in the morning. I tried to order room service one night and the host said that she was serving tables and to call back in 10 minutes?! To try and make the most of a bad stay I visited the spa too (this will cost you an extra €9...) and it was rubbish. Half of the things in there didn't work and the water in the jacuzzi was green and cloudy. I didn't even bother with breakfast, I waited until I got to work every morning. I even asked to upgrade to a superior room, hoping that it would improve my stay, only to be told I was ALREADY in a superior room! Very, very dissatisfied with the stay and will definitely not return. Where they have received a 4 star rating from is an absolute mystery to me!

“Mostly ok but could be so much better”
The best

We visited for the motogp. This is a perfect place to stay as the circuit is one train stop away which is epic. Hotel is clean and the rooms are a very good size. Problems we encountered were, one of the 3 nights we stayed we had no hot water. The food in the restaurant wasn't the best especially in the evening. Breakfast is very typical although all the hot stuff is cold. You can request an egg, so do that if you want hot food. Staff are really helpful. I would stay here again.
