The best

It is important to mention first that this is 3 star aparthotel that we all have the same base for comparing. This was the first time we have stayed in 3 star hotel and also we have not ordered food. The breakfast and partly also some simple dinneres we have prepared by ourselves in the apartment. So the building as such has nice receprion and the rest of the building is equiped simple, but sufficient. The apartment was clean, big enough (we were 2 adults and 3 kids). We had balcony and the view to the see and pool. It was very nice. Room cleaning and towels exchange on demand. As well beach towells for the deposit are available and those are also exchange on demand. The pool was sufficient incl. sufficient amount of sunbeds around. There was every day kids club open and some activities organized by the animator at the pool. In the evening mini disco and evening program till around 22.00 o clock. In general it was very good.

To be improved

There is small corridor in the apartment, so when we, five people, came into the apartment and got off the shoes the corridor was full. In additon we had flip flops for inside and also sport shoeas there. So to keep this amount in order was real challenge without any organizer. I missed in the room the place where I could place my suitcase as I personally do not like to place it on the floor and many times I do not unpack all cloth from my suitcase. So definitelly this was missing in every room including some side table in the livingroom. As we have used the dining table for serving, it had to stay clean. Thereore some stawage space would be helpfull to have for some small stuff like sun glasses, books, etc. What kitchen concerns, it is writen in the describtion that there is fully equiped kitchen. Yes it is equipped but fully equipped I woud not call it. There are plates, cups, cuttlery, nife, shovel, 2 pots and a pan, microwave, cooking stowe. There is a base. But there is not e.g. sheated wire pot, or some equipment when using pan, also some cloth for cleaning the dishes and detergent. Therefore do not expect that you can really cook there. Be prepared for improvization. :-)

I visit Ses Fotges regularly because we love this place. Nice staff, tasty food, beautiful beach. The staff is very friendly and professional. We have an autistic son with some repetitive habits. were very helpful in this regard as well.

“Lovely hotel, great location literally on the beach”

The best

We chose this hotel based on reviews and with it being a smaller hotel compared to the others in the area. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment with sea view which was absolutely fab and was quite cheap to upgrade from a studio at the time of booking. (We did notice if we had booked the same holiday a couple of months later the price went up by £1500) The balcony was large, there were only 2 of us so found the apartment was quite spacious. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and our apartment was spotlessly clean every day. A lot of guests seemed to be all inclusive but we went self catering as we like to eat out. The amenities for self catering were very basic, we had to request a kettle as there wasnt one but it was brought to the room straight away. We also requested a toaster but were told these are not included. We managed with what we had as we eat out anyway but if you're wanting to make a meal then there's not the items to do this unless just making a sandwich. Overall we were really pleased we chose this hotel due to the location, the room and the large balcony & our apartment was lovely and quiet. We only had our first day at the pool as we prefer the beach but the pool area was busy every day but plenty of sunbeds and was clean. There's the beach bar for snacks and drinks and we liked the atmosphere as they play music, mainly reggae which was great, rather than the loud boom boom rubbish you hear in some places. The sunbeds on the beach are not the hotels so there is a charge of 21 euros per day which we didnt mind as it was much more pleasant with a sea breeze in such hot weather. We tried a few restaurants not far from the hotel but found them not to be great and quite expensive so ended up travelling to Aludia Port and Can Picafort to eat out a few nights. The bus stops are right outside the hotel and really easy to use the bus service. I would say this is a great hotel if you like it in Playa De Muro/Alcudia as some of the other hotels dont look too nice and a lot are quite far from anything. As for the big hotels near the beach, the rooms are tiny and the balconys are soo small. We felt really lucky to have so much room for not a large price unlike the bigger hotels. Oh and you can have beach towels you can change 3 times per week for a deposit of 10 euros each and the room safe is a deposit of 20 euros which obviously you get back on checking out unlike some resorts where you have to pay. (Saw reviews moaning about this but you get it back so not seeing the issue). In all honesty we really liked this hotel as the main thing is cleanliness so was an absolute bonus to have the room and view that we had. If you're in a sea view room watch the sunrise from the balcony or even better, go sit on the beach, its amazing.

The best

Great satisfaction with both the environment and the food, which was rich every day – everyone could choose what they liked, and we were a family of 20 with children. I highly recommend it and we will definitely return. The only thing I would point out is that coffee was available first at breakfast, but I think that can be changed.Staff lovely, beach nice with sand easy for kids
