Apartment Barcelona Rentals - Private Pool and Garden Center

Location meant a taxi every time we wanted to get into town.

AVOID AVOID In September myself and 8 friends went to Barcelona for a long awaited trip.  We stayed in Apartment Barcelona Rentals, which ended up being a nightmare. We complained a number of times during our stay and again upon checkout and via the Booking.com app once home. We have since been advised that we will not be receiving our deposit back due to breaking house rules, which we did NOT! What they accuse us of formed part of our complaint and is an absolute insult. We had a number of knocks to the door accusing us of being to noisy, yet they could see that it was not us and we told them it was the men next door.   On one occasion the lady forced her way in to see how many people were in the apartment as she accused us of having a party, she saw it was only 6 young ladies talking and no party, again this it was next door. The blinds in the living room were broken, so made it difficult to sleep. Also we were in a built up area so the apartments all around could see into our living space where the sofa beds were, giving absolutely no privacy.  We spoke to the office about this and they said there was nothing they could do as the control was broken.  I had very little sleep due to this, you could see into other apartments whilst in bed we made me feel completely uncomfortable. One of the sofa beds were broken and one was very temperamental and broke on the last night! The kettle didn’t work, but this was replaced on the second day. The kitchen was not adequately equipped for 9 people, for example the oven only had one shelf so you were unable to eat together. The pool was dirty and didn’t get cleaned until the second day, but because we we’re getting accused of noise, we only used it once, for about 10 minutes! We complained on many/many occasions about the smell of weed/pot coming from next door.  Again, this stopped us from using the garden area.
