“Exceptional”

The best

Home from home, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The apartment had everything that we needed with modern decor throughout. Chose this apartment as attending a music festival and appeared to be at a walkable distance to both Club Xarao and Shangrila. An accommodating host, who allowed for both an early check-in and late check-out who was very responsive by WhatsApp. Would I stay here again? Most definitely.

To be improved

This was not negative for us as we were able to get our steps in, but the location of this apartment would not suit someone with mobility issues unless you have a car. This is located within a residential area that has a few inclines if walking to/from the beach. In addition, there is only air conditioning in the living area with only ceiling fans in the bedrooms. This was not an issue for us. (You do have the ability to keep the apartment cool through keeping the shades drawn). I also brought my own portable hand fan as I had read this fact on previous reviews.

“OK but price is for the view”

View of the apartment undoubtedly amazing. Located in green area, with pine trees, not far from the beach.

To be improved

Photos of the apartment are surely better than reality. Apartment had a strange fowl smell. Beds are very narrow and tough, bedding old fashioned. Overall everything a little outdated. TV only shows Spanish channels, no Smart TV.

“Solid 7, but not quite an 8”

The best

The apartment was nice and clean with a welcoming host who writes in English but speaks in Spanish. The view from the apartment was amazing, and there's a nice pool outside, though only the first pool is accessible. The wifi speed is impressive at 600 mbps. Both the sofa and the mattress were of high quality. The host allowed a late check-in at no extra charge and even came from Alicante one day to help when we forgot our keys. The apartment provides a beach umbrella with chairs, and it's a 15-20 minute walk to the beach. Parking was easy, and the complimentary wine was a pleasant touch.

To be improved

The AC wasn't on when we arrived, making the bedrooms very hot on the first night. The AC is only in the living room, so we had to keep the bedroom doors open for cooling. We ran out of towels after two days, and there were no extra kitchen paper or shampoo provided. The absence of a pizza slicer was noted, and the living room table felt very small. There aren't any stores within walking distance, but this isn't an issue if you have a car. It would be helpful if the host placed spare keys in a key-box outside the apartment door for convenience :)

“great short vacantion get away.”

The best

Very good size apartment, with a great view… everything was working well. we had difficulties adjusting the boiler but we soon managed and stuff was very helpful. The only problem is that we got stuck in the elevator for about 20mins- seems like the elevator needs checking up.

To be improved

Although everything was fine, I wouldn’t recommend this area unless you have a car… As it was our first time in Dehesa Campoamor, we were not aware that public transport would be a problem….but definitely recommend it if you have a car to go around…
