The best

I picked this apartment as the usual one I book was unavailable for this trip so was apprehensive after seeing the latest review. I picked this one for it's location and view and on that front it is hard to beat. It has a superb sea and mountain view from the lounge and terrace. The main bedroom is absolutely fine and we there were only two of us so didn't use the other bedrooms except for storing suitcases. The kitchen has everything you need but again we don't eat in so not best placed to judge that. There was underground parking but we did not use that but it was very tight in there especially with anything larger than a small car. On the whole I thought the apartment was good and would book again.

To be improved

The bathrooms are getting a little tired as the previous review said and the ironing board needs a new cover but these were minor points for me.

“This apartment is a tale of two halves.”

The best

Lovely location right by the sea and next to all shops and restaurants. Beautiful view from lounge and balcony. Comfortable seating in lovely spacious lounge. Perfect to relax in. Big new TV with Netflix and Prime and other streaming services available. We hardly used any kitchen appliances other than fridge freezer which was good but I cannot comment on any other appliances. Kitchen area is an adequate size. The main bedroom looked good too but our friends used that one. They made no complaints.

To be improved

Both bathrooms are in need of an upgrade. Both have poor door handles and locks which result in you getting locked in there if you are not careful. The shower curtain in bathroom traps you against the wall when trying to shower. The whole place would benefit from a fresh coat of paint, a shower screen over the bath and an anti slip mat is needed. The two twin bedrooms are a bit bare but the mattresses were good in the one we used. Unlike the towels which need changing, some were grey and need renewing. The iron is new but the ironing board is only fit for throwing away, it is beyond dirty, as is everything in that particular cupboard. It needs cleaning out and throwing away contents along with the ironing board. Overall, it looks a bit tired and needs a coat of paint everywhere. I am not sure that the good points out weigh the bad points enough so I probably would probably not return to this apartment.

The very small shower room is very claustrophobic. Because of the location you were surrounded by the smells of cooking and burnt oil etc from the surrounding restaurants. And it’s getting shabby in places needs a refurb .
