We announced well in advance that one of the guests is in a manual sports wheelchair. On the last day of our 10 day stay, we had a conversation with a neighbor and they mentioned that they have an association for the apartments and its facilities as well as the entrance which is linked to a Whatsapp group, where you can ask them to place ramps for the entrance . There were 2 higher steps of level differences that you had to master. This was a bigger problem for us as you go in and out several times a day and you don't always have your partner with you who can help lift the wheelchair, so you were a little limited in being able to go to the apartment when you want without planning it . It was a bit sad to find out this simple solution with ramps on the last day by the neighbors and not that the landlord had arranged it from the first day. Something to think about for other guests who are thinking about the accommodation. Also request door width for the bathroom as it is a narrow door and a normal wheelchair cannot access the bathroom, and it will be up to you to arrange a smaller stool on wheels or similar to be able to enter as the landlord could not help with this. If you are staying longer than a two days, it may also be good to make sure that the landlord has informed their cleaner how long you will be staying. When we stayed 10 days, there was no equipment for more than 1-2 days. we had to buy for the apartment ourselves, toilet paper, washing machine detergent, dish soap, cleaning spray.
