“Apartment was great, has everything you need but the building work and noise were disappointing”

The location and the apartment were good, the problem was the building work that was going on and the pool that you see in the advert was not in use.

To be improved

All the building work and the pool just below the apartment, seen in the advert was a building site. It was very noisy and dusty when you were having lunch on the balcony. Also there is no car park only parking on the road outside if you can get a space!

Spacious and very comfortable. Lovely big balcony with table and chairs for 6 people plus a swinging chair and double seat unit. Aircon in living area and ceiling fans in both bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Well equipped kitchen and dishwasher and washing machine products provided. Fantastic en-suite shower in the double bedroom. Plenty of wardrobe space with coat hangers. Safe with easy to follow instructions. Lovely swimming pool and plenty of sun beds around the pool area. There are a number of restaurants and bars close by and a lovely coastal pathway with fantastic views of the ocean and los gigantes cliffs. Travel agent right next door for booking car hire and excursions etc. The apartment block was extremely quiet at night so very good for sleeping. Lukas was the agent who we liaised with on arrival at the airport and he met us at the apartment and showed us everything. He was super helpful with restaurant recommendations, connecting us to the apartment wifi, showing us how to get to the pool etc.

To be improved

There are 2 large pools at the apartment block and apartment Theresa overlooked one of them but it is currently being refurbished and is not in use. At this time of year there were not many people using the 2nd of the two pools but if the pool is still out of commission in the summer months just having one pool would be a problem. There was a little bit of construction noise from the refurbishment but it didn’t bother us as we were out of the apartment during the day. There is a lot of construction work to the front of the apartment block so the entrance was difficult to find. The sunloungers have no cushions so are very uncomfortable. It would be good if some could be provided for guests to take down to the pool. Other pool users arrived carrying full-length cushion pads. The pool isn’t heated so is quite cold this early in the year.

“Great deal”

The best

The location was great, near the nice walking path along the ocean. The apartment was spacious, with all the necessary equipment: dishes, cutlery. Beds were comfortable. Apartment was on the second floor, but accessible by elevator. The apartment was really convenient to live with a 5 months old baby and a stroller.

To be improved

There was not additional toilet paper left, also no paper towel. The pool was not working, we were not informed about that and only found out that we can use another one after a week. Also the sound isolation is not very good, you can hear the neighbors even with the windows closed.
