Lovely spacious apartment on 11th floor.Superb seafront views.3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large terrace. Sunny in the mornings. Lovely sunrise. We really enjoyed El Campello.

“Incredible view in a reasonably comfortable apartment, close to all amenities”

The view was outstanding- very convenient for all my needs, beach, supermarket, restaurants and transport. Well resourced in terms of kitchen equipment, beach chairs etc.

To be improved

Shower a bit temperamental- very delicate move between burning hot and cool. Low pressure and shower head not easily kept in holder. No sockets for provided bedside lights!

NO AIR CON this is falsely advertised- only one working unit in the lounge but it is old and smells after being on for half an hour. You need air con due to being so close to the sea as doors need to be shut at night due to noise / wind and the apartment is boiling if you visit in summer. The whole apartment needs a refit and some love, kitchen and bathrooms need replacing, broken tiles on the flooring and the second shower room is so tiny the shower is useless. The second bedroom is tiny, it contains a double bed you can’t move around and no storage. It’s a shame it could be a really nice apartment if the owner bothered to spend some money on it. I would not stay here again or recommend. The owner will respond to messages but does not message you about arrival/ departure unless you contact them. The owner also took our deposit as we locked one set of keys in the apartment by accident- we were never given instruction about keys and surely we are not the first to do this? Surely in a rental you would have a frictioned lock for safety purposes?

“Sea Views”

The best

The apartment has excellent sea views. It is also located opposite a supermarket and has access to many bars and restaurants. The balcony is a good size. There is a separate laundry area which was really handy to have. The host was responsive.

To be improved

Remote check in was not smooth - we arrived late at night and would have liked to get straight into the property. There was leaking air con that we were not warned about. Dangerous kettle - the handle was too hot. The host did replace this, but it should have been checked before our arrival. There was broken /rusty furniture on the balcony. The property is in need of updating. There was no oven. There didn't appear to be any fire alarms inside the property. The bedrooms are small, and the mattresses and beds were uncomfortable. We kept bumping into the corner of the bed which was sharp. It was difficult to sleep at night due to street/beach cleaning which happened in the middle of the night (although it's good that this does happen). The second bathroom is very small. The plumbing /drainage was faulty. Due to the problem with the air con leaking, we had to switch it off. Given other reviews on here about this, I would have thought that this would have been fixed or that we would have at least been warned about this and given instructions about what to do. The last thing that you want to have to do on holiday is deal with a leak. The kitchen needs updating. The fridge leaks. The lights in the property appear to come on their own which is disconcerting. The plug sockets are hard to use. There were no parking spaces, and we couldn't even access the car park for the first few days. The property including the balcony and site could do with decoration and updating. There is a wardrobe in the hallway but no clothes hangers.
