“Comfortable first glance, but mediocre in reality”

The first impression is good. You’re in a nice neighbourhood, the elevator takes you to the 5th floor in a classic Madrid building and you enter a cute -small- studio. It’s nice to see they provide a fridge, stoves, microwave and a washing machine. There also is a big smart tv that works quickly on the WiFi. The couch is comfortable too.

To be improved

The problems start when you start using the amenities. The biggest concern is the state of the house, as we were unlucky to have many rains, the ceiling was leaking onto the bed. Also is the shower cabin leaking a lot, onto the floor. The downstairs neighbour had to come up to ask us to dry the floors, as the water was leaking through the ceiling; she also said the owner doesn’t have a license to rent the place. Besides, the shower works with a hot water tank and there is no support for the shower head. The toilet is built in a makeshift compartment, a little flimsy and really small. Then there is the hygiene. Specially bad when it comes to the bed (see the pictures of the pillows). It’s just dusty everywhere and there are stains here and there. I’ve used the broom everyday, and still I felt a little uncomfortable with the overall cleanliness. To close it up, there is a nasty hidden cost for towels and bed linens that you have to pay in cash on arrival. 20€ for bedsheets and two towels seems ridiculous to me. They also want to take a picture of your bank card in case they want to deduct a max of 150€ in case you break something.

Very less and not good condition furniture with very bad smell bathroom be prepared to go very inside the apartment I must say not a good property with family stay

Perfect location, all services around, we could walk anywhere, except Football field that you need metro to go there. Plenty of restaurants and musemus near the place, a dream in Madrid.

The best

All was very good. Huge apartment for 2 pepople, flooded with light, all exterior views, over the trees and very nice sunset. The place was clean and well organised, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Main attractions at 10 min walk, no need to take bus or metro, nevertheless metro nearby. We loved this place.
