Location next to the beach. Apartement was clean, 3 bedrooms an to toilets. And it was very peaceful and quiet during the night.

Location was perfect, just one street from the beach

The apartment house was little bit noisy with the habitants,and we saw cockroaches in the staircases. The door of the little restroom kept falling off, and the kids couldn't use it. The mattress of the big bed is very soft, it could be changed perhaps, it had a feeling that it was old.

“swimming and hiking with family”

During the last trips to La Palma we visited Puerto Naos. But it is closed now due to activity of volcano, so we went to Tazacorte instead. We were lucky to find a spacious 3-bedroom apartment in the second floor of a building, very close to the beach. Check-in and out was without contact with host - keys were picked up in the locker box (code was provided by host). Apartment was very clean and has everything you need, including all cleaning equipment, basic spices (salt, pepper, sugar, coffee etc.), hiking maps and other touristic info for La Palma, some books etc. We especially liked that some equipment for small children was included (i.e. special toilet seat, eating chair, footstool, even some toys for the beach, parasol, floating board). Host was helpful and always replied in no-time for all you need. Tazacorte beach is very nice, with good restaurants, ice cream and Spar market for basic food items. There are plenty of hiking pathways around, some even starting at Tazacorte, but you need a car to explore the best ones. We will come again.

To be improved

Wi-fi was not working very well, we had also very noisy neighbors. Immediate surroundings of the block was not very clean (dog shit, insects). We also missed a terrace. Stairs were not a problem for us, since we are young and fit, but they might be an issue for older people. Who expects a resort-type of accommodation will be disappointed.

3rd floor and no lift, very noisy building and neighbours screaming, loud music and one neighbour sitting on the stairs smoking cigarettes, full ashtray and walking through cigarette smoke as soon as we open the front door
