This is a lovely modern ground floor apartment across the road from the open space of Turia Gardens Park. The kitchen is well equipped and the whole place is accurately represented by the description and photos. A secure underground private parking place was available and easily accessed off the main road at the front of the building. Mario from ‘ApartUp’ communicated via WhatsApp and was there to greet us on arrival at 10:30pm (additional charge as expected). His detailed explanations and friendly advice about restaurants was very helpful, thanks Mario. A steady walk to the Cathedral from here took about 25 minutes passing by the Botanical Gardens and through the City gates. Catching a bus outside the apartment block (fixed price of 2 Euro using contactless debit card on entry) took us the length of Turia Gardens, past the modern arts and science area and on to the Marina and beach. A large and sensibly priced supermarket was a couple of minutes walk round the back of the apartment.

“Comfortable and quiet apartment in a good location for exploring Valencia”

The best

Quiet and convenient, close to a good supermarket, the lovely linear park and walks into the city. We did not need to use the car.

To be improved

The handover was rushed and there was no information in the apartment re supermarkets or local facilities, transport, the metro etc. Apart from a bottle of water and a little tea and coffee there were no other food basics. At that price one might expect a welcome pack - bread, milk, salt and pepper, oil and so on. The host organisation needs to pick up on best practice for most booking.com properties in this regard.
