In the morning of the day we should have checked in, we got a message from the property advising that due to rain there was humidity and we could not use the flat. They offered us a flat in the same building, which we accepted since we were about to leave for the airport and did not really have time to start looking for something else. Alas, when we got to the property, it was nothing like the one we had booked. It was not renovated, it was old and horrible, handles missing on doors, wholes on the walls, yellow walls due to damp. We also found a dirty towel and rubbish in a drawer of the chest of drawers in the bedroom and in a cupboard a plate with left over food. The kitchen did not have any cooking utensils apart from a big pot to boil food. We only stayed the first night but left in the morning. We told the owner who did not reply. It has taken me a week of phone calls to finally get the money back for the three nights we did not stay in the place. This apartment is not fit to be rented in any way and should never be offered to anyone.

Room was extremely unclean, hadn’t been looked after. We ended up leaving after the first night. We only stayed as it was very late when we arrived. We contacted the host and he refused to refund us. 100€ of repairs and a good clean would fix the issues. Pictures must be from when the apartment was first setup. These images no longer reflect the state of the apartment. My family have lived in Girona for 8years and I would highly not recommend staying here.

Don't like the late check-in. We should be able to either have our luggage held, or check-in early. I also didn't like having to come get the key away from the apartment, but not a big deal. The TV didn't really work, but we weren't planning to watch much anyway.
