I liked the town of Alcala. Close to the beach

To be improved

1. Well, for 4 out of 6 days I had no hot water, and during the first two days it was barely warm. The owner communicated very rudely through the Booking platform and didn’t believe there was a problem. He tried to explain that the boiler runs on solar energy and that I’m not always supposed to have hot water. Eventually, I stopped communicating with him because he was so unpleasant. The water was not working regardless of sunlight, and I was staying alone, so I couldn’t have overused it. He sent an administrator to fix it, but the administrator said it couldn’t be repaired because the system is old and needs to be replaced. On the last night, the administrator offered me another apartment, but I didn’t take the risk again considering his attitude towards guests and his understanding of cleanliness and comfort. 2. Upon arrival, I had to spray the kitchen for ants. Thankfully, some poison had been left behind. 3. The apartment lacked cleanliness. Maybe it had some partial renovation at some point, but all the corners were dirty, and the dishes and utensils were filthy. I didn’t feel like touching anything in the kitchen or any other part of the apartment. 4. There was no washing machine or dishwasher. 5. The windows of both bedrooms face ventilation shafts — which means that just two meters away you can see and hear the neighbors through their windows. 6. The owner was really unpleasant. It took me a lot of time and effort to convince him and ask him to believe there was a problem. As I understand, even the administrator explained it to him – the same one who had to enter the apartment twice when I wasn’t home to check and try to restart the system.
