“Small apartment for short stay”

Good transport links to airport and central Madrid so can be used for short visit to the area. A lot of supermarkets near by.

To be improved

Apartment quite small - best for a couple or 2 travellers sleeping separately. Could use more thorough cleaning as some hairs left on bedding etc. Apartment door opens from an app on phone so make sure you have phone charge to last all day!

“Secure, Ground-floor apartment, street-work noises could be heard at night but no revellers!”

The best

I loved that the temperature was just right when I arrived, that there was real coffee, s fridge-freezer. It was obviously clean, and maintained. Loved thay there was a shop next door. The app to open the door was a novel element!

To be improved

I could hear any movement next door, I didn’t like that the rubbish is collected at midnight. But it has to be collected at some point so.. for 3 nights I didn’t mind - I slept on

The day prior to arrival, I received a message that they overbooked and that they were cancelling my reservation. I send a message to confirm if it was true but there was not a prompt response. I decided to book another hotel. After I did, I received the response (10 hours later) that my booking was confirmed and not cancelled. At that time, I already booked another hotel. I requested refund with no further response, so I needed to contact customer service of Booking to request the refund.

“Did not stay at apartment”

We never stayed at the apartment as we got there late and did not realise that we did not recieve emails to check in so we could not get in

The parking was very busy but as we did not know exact location may be different
