“Choose a 4-star hotel instead of this apartment for the same price”

The best

The only great thing about the apartment was its location (closeness to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets) and the functioning kitchen equipment such as dishwasher, stove and washing machine. At the check-in we were handed over the keys as we informed the facility on our arrival time.

To be improved

The most horrible think was the stink of the canalisation, disgusting smell from the toilet. We reported this to the customer service of Paramount holidays, where we got the information that a staff would come to check on the issue. No one ever came. The apart was not that clean, that all the cupboards were sticky and we had to wash our hands whenever we touched around. All the apart needs renovation, especially the bedrooms and the terrace. The bed was consist of 3 different size of mattresses. They simply slide all the time, and not comfortable. The kitchen utensils were in sufficient, we had to buy our needs from the supermarket for a one week stay. There were two sunbed with only one had suitable cushion on it, the second one had cushions of a coach. The terrace doors need to be locked at night as thieves were walking around in the neighbourhood. Check-out at 11 am and you are not even instructed what to do with the keys, so that we left them (7-8 keys for whole facility because everywhere has locks) in the post box. We were informed by the neighbours, that the owner of the flat had passed away on 6th September at the age of 94 in a retirement home and that explained us a lot… For the 152 €/ night, we should have selected a proper and clean 4-star hotel instead of this low standard apartment.
