It was really close to the beach and the Main Street / restaurants. It was very clean and had good air conditioning and facilities which is great for cooling down after the sun.

Juanlu, the host was kind enough to meet me at the train station even though it is only a 10-15 min walk to the apartment. The apartment is much bigger than most and was spotless. It was well equipped (water bottle, coffee capsules, milk, iron, hair dryer, body wash, towels, iron, A/C, washer, etc). Upon arrival Juanlu gave me a tour of the apartment and explained how everything worked. After the tour, I signed the house rules/ seasonal rental contract for tourists and handed over the 100 Euro deposit in cash in case of damages/lost keys. On the day of the checkout we did a quick walkthrough and my deposit was returned with no issues. The street (Calle Gimena) is charming and mostly accommodation for tourists, but still has some locals living there for generations. You can tell a lot of care went into this apartment. It is nicely renovated and thus treated with respect. The best part is the location. It is in the center yet only a 5 min walk to the beach (literally around the corner). I had a wonderful time and did not want to leave. I will definitely come back and stay here again. Highly recommend :)

I liked everything. We have traveled a lot in Europe and other countries but never had so clean apartment.
