Absolutely fantastic experience the hotel was amazing spotless clean food was great plenty of choice all of the staff were great and very friendly/helpful pool area was lovely restaurant very chilled and pleasant

Defo one of the best hotels I've stayed at. The place is pretty new and nothing looked old or tired, stunning hotel tbh. Pools are amazing and we used the heated one as it was not really hot enough for the big pool so having one heated was lovely. The place is spotless and the staff are fantastic from every part of the hotel! The surrounding area is abit tired and as it was a quite time of the year that added to lack of atmosphere but the train was very close to go baracalona and easy to use, the beach is stunning just too cold for when we went. Overall if your looking mainly for an awesome hotel to stay in and enjoy a couples break then this is the one, if the area means more to you then maybe look around however I would go back as the value was amazing. Im actually surprised it's not a 5 star as not sure what more it could do to make it one. Food was also great and the spa is lovely (wish I had used it more now) thanks for a lovely stay guys x

Hotel is more than ok, very friendly personal in diner room, in reception. Standard in room is good,.good cleaned, good standard, and nice terrace!

We have just got back from a seven night stay at the Silhouette. For context we stayed as a couple in a junior suite. We found this hotel to be top notch in every aspect. All staff were happy, helpful and polite. It was spotlessly clean throughout. The food was very varied, well cooked and of a good quality. Warm plates were available which is always a plus for me. The junior suite was spacious with loads of storage space. There were tea and coffee facilities provided. The layout of the suite was a little odd in that as you entered from the corridor you entered the bathroom area, this was an open plan bathroom which led into the lounge area. This meant that someone could sit on the sofa and watch you shower. This did not bother us but may not be appropriate for some people. The bedroom was a separate room. Our suite did not bear any resemblance at all to the photographs on the website or on the Jet2 app. Having said that we were very happy in the room. All of the junior suites are at the ends of the corridors which made it very quiet. There was a very large modern pool area with three swimming pools. One of them was heated to a lovely temperature. There were plenty of sunbeds. In the local area there were a few shops along a promenade a few by the station and a few by the local town square but on the whole the area was quiet and had a rundown feel about it. Lots of graffiti and limited access to the beach due to the railway line. The beach was not developed and a little barren. This did not detract from our holiday as we used the hotel as a base to travel to Calella, Barcelona and Girona by train. Overall an excellent hotel that I would happily recommend to friends.

The staff from the front desk to the pool team all went out of their way to help and greet you with a cheery smile. Nothing was too much trouble for all of them. The food in the restaurant was varied and delicious, more five star than four star. The pool bar restaurant also provided a varied menu and big helpings. I enjoyed the facility in the morning to boil your own fresh eggs, which I did as I collected my toast and yoghurt, seven minutes for a nice runny egg. The entertainment every night was top notch and the staff very attentive and quick to respond to your drink requirements. Deck chairs were never a problem to get and not once did I have to run down in the morning prior to breakfast to put towels on my chairs. Early breakfast was provided on the morning I left but my wife and I could only eat 1/3 of what they provided. Definitely one of the best holidays I have had in a long time from day one to the day of leaving.

The Aqua Hotel Silhouette and Spa offers guests friendly, efficient and welcoming service. For our recent 10 day visit, we chose to upgrade to a junior suite which was very comfortable and spacious with plenty of storage available. There were no issues with the room's facilities (including air conditioning) and it was worth requesting a pool view on an upper floor. The food on offer was of a good standard and the buffet-style restaurant operated very smoothly. The pool/outside areas offered plenty of space and different seating and there were no sunbed shortages or problems. Malgrat de Mar's location makes it an ideal base for exploring the Costa Brava area and it is well supported by frequent trains and buses. For those who like walking or cycling, the surrounding area is relatively flat with well maintained paths and tracks. There are also a good selection of restaurants and bars that cater for different tastes and budgets.
