Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Great location near the beach with access to nearby supermarkets.
Rooms were a good size with decent amenities.
Mixed feelings overall; while some aspects were nice, significant problems detracted from the experience.
Staff were friendly but service was inconsistent and complaints were often not addressed.
Limited entertainment options; pool facilities were underwhelming.
Some guests felt the all-inclusive upgrade was not worth the extra payment.
“Great Stay at AR Diamante Hotel with our group”
The hotel was perfect for our cycling trip with my husband and friends. The food was great, the beds were extremely comfy, rooms were spotless. We asked for a kettle in the room and it was brought to us within 5 mins. All the staff were very helpful & friendly. We also had a treatment which was lovely! This is our second time staying at AR Diamante
“Poor Reception and No outdoor pool”
Very poor reception staff. Seemed to be an inconvenience. Checked in the evening about gym hours and was informed it was in the information provided with room key. Maybe this madam needs to be re trained in the area of customer service. Standard room is very basic and for a 4 star hotel not to have tea/coffee making facilities is very poor. Take note if you are staying at the moment the outdoor pools are empty and unusable. Rooms are very noisy both from the corridor and from next door. Breakfast is poor enough. Make sure you are finished early because at 10 am they are already cleared. Would i stay again......100% NO. Overpriced for what you get
“cykling trip”
Very beytifull place new renowaited close to beach and close to tango bar and close to the bike shop
“Nice hotel in Calpe”
Lovely huge welcoming hotel. Lots of glass! The outside pool area is nice and secluded. We walked along to the Esmeralda to meet friends. The promenade is only a short stroll away. There are supermarkets literally right outside this hotel ideal for snacks. The hotel is not far from the main road into Calpe. There are lots of bars inside. The restaurant is ok, although I must admit the food could of been a little warmer but otherwise it was ok. Good Reception lovely staff.
“mixed feelings”
We stayed for 9 days. Nice hotel, room and bathroom, close to beach. But it has a couple of flaws, It is not a tourist hotel...We found out that 80% are bikers that practice in and around Calpe. They bring there bikes into the hotel, elevators etc. This creates a different atmosphere, not for the better especially during meals. Breakfast was good (except for coffeemachines, ...)Dinner: great saladbar (though one spoon to be used for several plates....) Main dishes were almost the same every night: fish and porc and porc. Only one night there was beef. Use of the inside swimmingpool including spa cost you 33 euros (ridiculous price...). I only wanted to swim but not for 33 euros. Staf was friendly. All in all mixed feelings about this hotel.
“Four star foyer, three star rooms, 2 star food.”
Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice view of the beach if somewhat interrupted by some high rise neighbours. Nice shower but the water temp in the shower varies from scalding hot to freezing cold when showering. Lovely foyer. Service was as expected which was good Rooms are nice but having paid extra for a superior room not that nice! The mini bar was supposed to be restocked every day as part of the extra cost but it wasn't. I even left notes to remind staff. Worked once in the whole week. Nearby activities Lovely promenade with varying shops etc.. Lots of cyclists in our hotel so I guess they thought it was good for them. Felt very safe. Totally flat area. Easy walk to the beach. Wine was okay and reletiv inexpensive. Cocktails tasteless and nearly twice the price of bars on the promenade. Salads were nice and plentiful. The cooked food was very disappointing! Salds were very good. Lots of cold meats and cheese. However anything cooked was quite frankly awful. Fish was way over cooked. Twice we were served undercooked chicken at the self service. It seemed anything that had been cooked had some issue. The Michelin starred restaurant (Audreys) very expensive as you may imagine varying between €89 and €150 per person. Didn't use the Japanese restaurant but prices seemed fair for what was offered
