“Comfortable overnight stay, close to Cuenca”

Traditional old village hotel, well used by locals Comfortable beds Clean linen and bathroom Hotel generally spotlessly clean Friendly bar staff Interesting courtyard garden with statue and aviary Location is in a quiet small village , but only 15 minutes from Cuenca.

Parking is difficult, street parking is where you can find a space The night we stayed, a local wedding was taking place, bar and restaurant were chaotic and noisy. The following morning the bar was packed so we didn't stop for breakfast, too noisy. Pool is not one you can relax around, more like a dip in pool, its surrounded by dining tables and chairs in a courtyard. No aircon remote, as staff only spoke Spanish, we didn't ask for a remote. Room was stuffy and hot overnight. Some furniture items and decor are very out dated.

Good shower pressure. Comfortable bed.

Noisy. The bar / resraurant was extremely noisey. Sat outside to eat. No air con avalible in room. Power disconnected and no remote. Reading another review you have to ask at reception for one!!! Had to have window open, dogs barking through the night. Room was smaller than stated on booking.com. Waited for over an hour for food in the restaurant. Would i return. NO

“A great little Hotel 10 mins drive to Cuenca. Good value for money (we had the evening meal included)”
The best

Very nice family run Hotel with lovely staff. The bar is obviously the hub of the local community at weekends with a great family atmosphere. We even met the local Police when they popped in for coffee.
