Some noise from neighbourhood

The apartment has a cleverly worded description that is misleading. The photos are technically real, and the description is not outright false, but everything is presented in a way that hides or omits details that might make someone reconsider booking. I decided to cancel my stay and moved to another place almost immediately. The apartment gives the impression of being a converted shop, with a single entrance and just one window. Sleeping arrangements – The bunk bed might be comfortable for 10–12-year-olds, but it is short and low. Additionally, it is quite unstable if someone wants to sleep on the top bunk, so my daughter was left without a proper bed. The bedroom – It has no window. What appears in the photos is just a decorative panel. Naturally, there is no additional ventilation. The same applies to the bathroom—no ventilation at all, and used toilet paper has to be collected in a bin. But where is one supposed to dispose of it? The only available ventilation is opening the window directly onto the sidewalk or the door—also leading straight to the sidewalk. Security - to make matters worse, the window cannot be securely propped open, meaning we either had to sleep with it fully open or close it and endure the stifling air inside. The door is locked with a single basic lock, with no peephole or way to check who is knocking. While this setup might be considered charming by some, allowing direct contact with pedestrians, for me, it was a significant drawback. Even though I left the apartment within about two hours, the owner refused to issue a refund. The booking platform shifted responsibility onto the owner, leaving me stuck with a double reservation. In the end, the only compensation offered by Booking was a refund of their service fee for this booking. I leave it up to you to judge the level of support provided by this service.

The living room is right next to the street so you will smell the cigarettre smokers and car exhaust sometimes if you want your window open, but that is to be expected.
