Arenales Playa Superior by Mar Holidays

Shower tray needs attention, discoursed form sand etc didn't look nice. Electricity went down twice , basically you can't have more than 2 appliances on as it goes off.

We couldn't stay in the accommodation. We arrived to arenales at 9pm, I was told by the agency that late check in was possible as check in was done getting a key from a box with a code. When we arrived there, the code we were given didn't work. 5 adults tried for 2 hours to open the different locks and none worked. I understand that errors can occur, my main complaint is that the company was completely unreachable by phone. They knew we were arriving late, but as out of working hours, their phone lines were off. We were left there without an accommodation at 11pm with elderly people and 2 small children. We had to take a taxi to a different village to find a hotel to stay. The day after, I called the agency and they agreed to return the whole fee for us, which was appreciated. My suggestion is that the company should ensure that they have a working phone number for emergencies, especially if they know that some guests are coming at night.

The accommodation was in very poor condition. Even though the building is relatively new, the apartment was unmaintained. Dirty walls, dusty and dirty floor. The siphon on the bathroom sink was completely clogged, meaning no one checked the apartment before we checked in. For a short stay of a few nights the place is suitable, but for a long stay I would not recommend it. The mattresses were very uncomfortable suitable for no more than 2 nights. After that you will need therapy to recover your back. The kitchen is not well stocked and don't count on being able to cook for yourself. The pans were absolutely rubbish. Bring your own toilet paper :)
