“Recommend to seek other options when visiting Cuenca.”
The best

The hotel is located in the center and not in the old town which means there are a lot of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops near by and you don’t have to go up and down the hill to get to them. Also the hotel looks quite new and modern and the shower had a good water pressure.

To be improved

The breakfast was very poor, with no eggs or vegetables, with bread that doesn’t taste fresh and bad machine coffee. The bed mattress was too soft and uncomfortable and the pillows too hard. Plus, there was a constant chemical smell in the lobby which we found to be unpleasant.

“Location great for exploring Cuenca. We did not have the breakfast. The price was low. Basic room, but the shower was great, hot water pot in the room . No in-room safe was the only downside. Front desk gentleman was nice though quiet, and answered whatever questions we had. All in all a good experience. · Cons: In room safe would have been nice.”

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The room was a decent size and equipped with a kettle, coffee and toothbrushes. For the low price charged, the room was excellent.
