“A very nice and relaxing stay in a nice apartment situated in the original heart of Arguineguin.”

The best

Perfekt location at the sea side down by the beautiful harbor in the old or original city of Arguineguin. Another plus was that all of the artificial mass touristic buildings were totally out of sight, which made us feel very comfortable. The apartment was very clean and well equipped.

The best

It was a lovely big clean apartment. Overlooking the beach and close to all the facilities. Beautiful sunset from the balcony. Juan and Ana were perfect hosts. There are two more beach to the left and right if you follow the promenade. Both have golden sand as opposed to the darker sand in front of apartment. A good selection of restaurants nearby also.

To be improved

Not really an issue but there was only one hand towel for 3 persons but they were supplied immediately. Also, we weren’t sure what to do with the trash but once again when I asked Juan immediately responded.

“Lovely but .... earplugs necessary”

The best

They were so friendly, and do everything to keep it quiet and peaceful, quiet time from 10 pm To 9 am. Location is lovely and the view is amazing, it's like the balcony ends in the ocean. The beach is literally a stone's throw away. Lovely restaurants, nice walks, close to other towns, cheap taxi's, not too touristy, no nightclubs, great fishfood, amazing excursions through okgrancanaria, safe, easy, supermarket nearby, ...

To be improved

The building is made of cardboard, i hate to say this because they tried so hard to have it be quiet but you can hear everything above, below and beside you, and it's not purposefully noisy, but if your neighbours wake up at 7, you wake up at 7, and 7 is lucky, the woman next door was rearranging her furniture everyday at 5 or 6. Probably just normal movement. It's all tiles, no carpet which ofcourse is logical because of sand but you hear everything, all the furniture is hollow wood, old cupboards even the doors are noisy. The people a floor down from us must have hated us too. Also the street between the apartment and the beach is now a car free boardwalk, which I unfortunately think is noisier than cars, because pedestrians have nice seats where they can hang out all evening and love having loud discussions till very late in the night! There's a small supermarket 20 meters away with great ice cream and a terras, but it's opened til 10h pm, and especially in the weekend it's really busy with locals. Earplugs and noise cancelling headphones every night unfortunately.

To be improved

Only one change of bedding and towels for our 4 week stay. Maybe have some spare bath towels in the apartment rather than wait for staff to deliver. Kitchen needed larger dinner plates as dined in most nights so had to purchase from the shop.

“Superb”

The best

The location was perfect, right on the sea front with views of the whole harbour and sun on the balcony for most of the day. The evening sunsets were magnificent with full view. The road being turned into a promenade was a bonus as it was very quiet even on market day every Tuesday. the interesting spectacle of the local people promenading along the seafront was very entertaining. ideal situation for supermarkets and restaurants,also very convenient for local buses and ferries which gave excellent service. We would definitely rebook.

To be improved

The bed pillows and mattress could do with renewing and the toilet tissue having to be deposited in a bin may put some people off.
