“Very nice & modern apartment with great views, though in rather remote location with not much around”

The best

Very clean and modern and well-equipped apartment surrounded by pine trees and palm trees and with great views of mountains and sea and of Alicante city, including view of Santa Barbara castle hill from bedroom. The indian restaurant nearby, called Good View, was very good and well-priced. Good service as well. I also liked the cafe, Dime Que No, which has a new mini supermarket attached to it, called Sumo. Both were good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Julia, who manages the apartment, was very nice and helpful and even dropped me off to the centro commercial in Gran Alacant when I left, which was very kind of her.

To be improved

The bedrooms have no curtain or shutters/blinds so no privacy and there are apartments opposite. Had to get dressed in the bathroom, which is a bit small. The area around the apartment is quite hilly and the area is rather remote, so does not have many shops etc. Also, it can be tough to get phone signal in the area. Unfortunately, my last two days at the apartment, there was renovation going on of the apartment above, with a lot of banging, drilling, throwing of tools onto the floor, and things being moved, so this did not make for a particularly peaceful stay.

“Comfy and home from home”

The best

Very modern.exceptionally clean. There was everything you need there. Great aircon, comfortable beds and great views. Few bars and restaurants nearby and supermarket. Road train to beach stops opposite. This apt is very secure. Pool was just right and lovely sitting areas dotted about. The host adrian who met us was very friendly and helpful, especially as I am disabled.

To be improved

The only downside was that there was no balcony. But the layout, quiet location and aircon more than made up for it! There were no sun beds by pool as its an urbanisation. You could take your own though

The best

m happy with my stay in the apartment in Gran Alacant, Spain! The location is fantastic - not far to the airport that making my stay incredibly convenient. The area offers plenty of tasty cafes and restaurants to explore. There is also great beach nearby and quick road to Alicante. Gran Alacant was surprisingly nice too. The apartment itself was very comfortable and met all my expectations. It had everything I needed, and all the equipments were new. The view from the window was amazing, and the garden in the urbanization added charm and tranquility to my rather quick stay.
