Lovely apartment in a nice location. Cleanliness is 5* Bed very comfortable Would 100% recommend

To be improved

Nothing I didn't like, but would like to share the following tips to make it exceptional. A welcome pack including travel info leaflet/metro map would have been very useful along with what to see and do in Barcelona. I had googled a lot but sometimes local info is better. Comes with a large bottle of water left in the fridge which was a nice. It would be lovely to have one per traveller.

THEY REFUSED TO SEND ME AN INVOICE FOR MORE THAN A MONTH!! I wrote probably 20 messages across different channels and still nothing. Also booking not helpful - this is a case for the Spanish tax authorities!!

“Great Place to Stay on the Outskirts of Central Barcelona”

While Ariqus is out of the central city, the location is excellent for access to both a large mall with a great supermarket Gran Via 2 Commercial Centre, and a bus which takes you into the centre, from just across the main road. Take the L95 bus into the Plaza de Catalunya, Euro 2.60, takes about 15- 20 minutes, this gives you access to La Rambla and other fabulous sites within walking distance and the hop on hop off buses. The apartment is a very clean and modern apartment with kitchen facilities to cook your own meals. Cost of taxi from airport should be around 25 Euro from the yellow and black cabs.

To be improved

Great coffee machine but only enough capsules for 1 drink each on day of arrival. We stayed 3 days. We would have bought more capsules but supermarket only sold cartons of them which we didn't need.

“Fantastic apartment, super clean, good value for money.”

Lovely apartment, super clean, great air con which was much needed! Good shower and appreciated being able to iron my clothes after jam packing m ruck sack with them!. Only 2 mins to metro. Close to a large shopping centre but on a quiet street and just round the corner from a lovely bar.

“Excellent stay in a quite part of the city.”

The apartment and the building are completely new. The interior is very nice and modernly designed. The apartment has everything you need, including a coffee machine, hair dryer, microwave, blender, etc. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy, especially the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, although the pillows were quite small. I read in some reviews that the AC didn't work, but in our case it worked perfectly. However, on the last day it didn't cool, but just blew air as a fan. Probably this is something automatic, related to the outside temperature, as that day wasn't too hot. The hosts were very responsive, and we were able to enter the apartment were early, since we had an early morning flight. There is a big mall just across the street which is another plus.

To be improved

The apartment is not in the center, but it is excellently connected with various parts of the town with different metro and bus lines, that stop right near the apartment building. However, you will need around 20 minutes to get to the Placa the Catalunya, so be prepared for that.
