“Wonderful stay for families!”

The best

We had a wonderful stay at Arkadia Apartaments! It has all the amenities necessary for a great vacation, steps only from the beach, restaurants, shops. We absolutely loved it and the kids too! The apartment is very clean, renovated, with a nice bathroom. We definitely recommend it to families! Lisa was welcoming and had tons of restaurants recommendations that we tried and liked very much. Roses was a very lively town that we enjoyed so much, very well situated to explore the area. Thanks again for this great stay!

To be improved

This is not about the property but sharing for travellers with a car! it’s good to know that parking in Roses is not that easy, even when not in high season. Anywhere with white lines is free but you have to be lucky to find a spot, we had to drive around in circles a lot. We ended up paying the city parking on the waterfront on a few days, which is steps from the apartment but is also a budget in itself (16€ per day). Apart from that, nothing to say about the apartment itself. We loved everything!

“Superb”

The best

This apartment is close to the water with a view down the old town narrow street to the water. The bedrooms are a nice size for laying our suitcases and there is open shelves and hanging space if you want to unpack. As we were in the middle of a long trip it was good to use the washing machine upstairs (shared) and cook one of our meals in the apartment. It is a very easy place to stay and we have stayed at a few. Lisa was very helpful pointing out supermarkets, bakeries and booking our taxi.

The location of the flat is simply perfect for a stay in Roses, the flat was really clean and Lisa has been the perfect host, giving us indications and being perfectly on time for giving us the key of the flat.

Location is great, cleanliness of apartment was irreproachable, comfortable apartment.

To be improved

Lacks oven (only thing missing though) and blackout curtains in bedrooms would be great (we were all up at dawn because we’re used to shutters and total darkness).
