“A luxury and peaceful apartment in the heart of Seville.”

The best

Excellent and comfortable one-bed apartment right in the heart of Saville old town. Despite the bustle of the city, the apartment (on the first floor, but with a lift) was an oasis of quiet and peace. Well decorated, furnished and equipped, the apartment is ideal for a city break. Plenty of life around, including restaurants, bars and cafes. The Cathedral and Royal Alcazar are only 5 minutes walk.

“Lovely flat, but beware the awful noise of a nearby bar/dance club between 11:00 p.m. and 06:30.”

It was very rasy to get in and out of the flat. The hosts were very quick to reply to our questions, and always cordial.

To be improved

Not described in the property description is that 4-5 nights a week, there is an all-night pop/dance bar that operates at top noise on the same block (behind) the flat. Hours: 11:30 p.m. to 06:30. (Yes, 06:30). The sound of the BOOMING base notes through the nearby adjoining walls interrupted both my sleep and that of my husband on each and every night that this awful bar-dance place operated. Worse still was the noise of the bar patrons spilling out of the bar at its closing time of 06:30, constantly whooping, yelling and acreaming. If we’d been there on nights other than Wednesday through Sunday we’d have had no complaints whatsoever: the flat was lovely, well located and comfortable. But we will certainly not recomment this flat to anyone else without warning them of the awful noise that may (or, admittedly, may not) ruin the night’s sleep 4 nights a week.

Fantastic location, close to the Cathedral and old town, some lovely bars in the street the apartment is on.

To be improved

Apartment is little dark, but this could be an advantage in the hot summer months, but maybe not in the winter. The thumping noise from the club below is very annoying. Take some ear plugs.

Very near to central attractions in Sevilla and pubs and restaurants

High noise level from flat above, you wake up the moment someone uses the bathroom abovr, as the toilet with glassdoor is less than 2 m from your bed! And if kids run around or play games no chance to relax. And the marbled hallway of the house is a perfect sound enhancer: the moment the cleaning ladies enter the house to use the washing mashines in the hallway or anyone closes the entrance door with loud ‚wumm‘ you jump to attention…
