“Nice apartment but very noisy from the inside”

I liked the friendly host and her try to solve my problem with noisy neighbours at night (but it was not possible). The apartment is nice and clean.

To be improved

Very noisy apartment (it's a medieval building). I had very bad luck and got a group of tourist in the lower floor that were up all night. I tried earplugs and noise cancelling headphones, still heard every word they said. As there is no reception and the owner doesn't live in the city, there was no way how this problem could be sorted out during my stay (the other guests just didn't care and ignored my complaints). The host tried to make up for my experience and offered a free night for my next stay, it was a kind gesture but next time in Cuenca's old town I'll deffinitely opt for soundproofing room only. After two nights of no sleep I was exhausted and couldn't do any planned trips. If you choose this apartment, good luck, hopefully you get respectful neighbours.
