“1/10 it’s fair enough”
It was a bad experience, but the location of the apartment is fine, that’s only good thing I found
I honestly don’t understand how this apartment received ratings higher than 8. Normally, if a place has an average rating of 8, it should be quite decent. But that’s not the case here. My friend and I stayed in this apartment, and we’d like to share our thoughts about the place together. First, you’ll read my review, and then his. 1) The walls are worn out, everything is dirty, and the couch is stained either with beer or urine, I honestly can’t tell. It’s incredibly noisy there’s a café or restaurant right next door, and people are shouting constantly, even with the windows closed. The renovation is cheap and tasteless. The photos looked okay, but once you move in, it’s just pure disappointment. 2) 1. Both the bedroom and the living room are triangular in shape, which feels uncomfortable. Rooms are usually square or rectangular — that’s the standard. 2. One of the walls in the living room was vibrating, probably because there’s a bar or restaurant next door. The noise was low-frequency and very disturbing. 3. There was a strange smell in the apartment. The bathroom was fine, but when we moved in, the place reeked of a cheap air freshener. 4. The sofa bed was broken and uncomfortable to sleep on. It was in bad shape when we arrived — already stained and with holes, clearly very old. 5. The walls in the kitchen and entry area were dirty. 6. The refrigerator was covered with awful-looking, tasteless stickers. That kind of “ghetto-style” decoration on an old fridge looked just disgusting. 7. There were also cheap-looking plastic flower decorations, which didn’t help the impression. All these things combined — in my opinion — simply don’t justify a score above 8.

A very spacious apartment with everything you needed. Close to restaurants and bars and Guggenheim museum.

“Exceptional”
Location was great. Easy to communicate with property manager who was enthusiastic and helpful.
Lack of natural light due to being basement apartment. But did not detract from the stay.
“Excellent accomodation”
Excellent, well equipped appartment, quiet, centrally located. Highly recommended!
