“Lovely spacious and clean rooms. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the beach. It was ideal for a trip to Barcelona, right next to the train station. Hotel provides parking at a reasonable tariff. · Cons: Staff was polite but a little distant.”

“Cons: The guy in the reception was not really friendly when we arrive early. We asked to check-in early to be prepared for the wedding on time but it wasn't possible until 14 while some of people were already going to their rooms around 12.. It would be nice if they could informed us in a nicest way only answer was: "it's not ready, we don't know when it will be ready, it's too early to know and some spanish sentences that we don't understand as a tourist.." They should learn hospitality!”

The property is situated between a railway track and a working port. It is extremely noisy and the whole area stank of diesel fumes. The bed was sagging and not fit for purpose. There is nowhere to hang clothes as only 6 coat hangers available. The decoration is tired and grubby. Not sure who gave this 4 stars.

“Welcome to the Mosquito Suite”

Would be great if, before checking me in, the room hadn’t been left open for who knows how long and then filled with mosquitoes (dozens of them). Because I was too lazy to deal with them after 20 minutes, I just used (very strong) mosquito repellent for the night, which prevented bites — but the sound during the night was like a mosquito air show. Very poor quality control from the hotel. (P.S. I did not ask for a new room, Moscito Hotel was fully booked)
