“An excellent stay”

The best

This was my choice for my one night in Barcelona. The price was right and the location was great. Tatianna at the front desk was friendly, accommodating and helpful, offering assistance wherever I needed it. The room was very comfortable, immaculate and well appointed. A perfect European breakfast buffet was offered as well. On my next trip to Barcelona I will not hesitate to stay here.

“Poor service”

My brother and I stayed at Hotel Rekord Barcelona from May 16 to May 22, 2025. On Monday May 19, 2025 we left our room at 7:00am and close the door to the room for the day. We came back around 11:00am and the door was open, assuming it was the cleaning person who left it open. I had filed complaint to the manager at hotel rekord and she only offered breakfast or 1 night for future stay. This is crazy, more than 15 hrs our room was open. We could have our stuff stolen. The manage didnt even say sorry or have given 1 night refund.

The location was great, in a nice quiet neighborhood and super close to the subway and several restaurants and supermarkets The suite was pretty big Good water pressure on the shower and nice brand cosmetics in the bathroom (+robes and slippers)

To be improved

The breakfast was not great, not many option and the exact same dishes the whole week They cleaned the floor only a couple times, not every day Very thin walls, we could hear the neighbors all the time Furniture, doors, couch etc. we kind of old and warn out

The breakfast is amazing, very high quality, I don't remember another breakfast like that. · Cons: We paid about €280 per night but if you ask for coffee for the coffee machine in your room, you have to pay for that, € 1 per capsule, it is ridiculous and totally outrageous. If they want to be paid for that, they should includ some capsules in the price of the room. It is the same to pay €280 or €282 per night. I couldn't believe when I asked to the receptionist to send me 4 capsules and she responded the price was € 4.-”
