“Spacious apartment, close to beaches and Marbella town”
The best

The location of the apartment is very convenient for access to the main roads and is only couple of miles from Marbella town. The view from the balcony is lovely. The apartment is spacious and the room sizes are comfortable but there is some furniture in the living area and bedrooms that serves no purpose and it would make the place more comfortable if the living area sofa could seat 4, rather than just 3 people. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms is great. The site is well maintained and very green. Whilst there are no convenience stores within a reasonable walking distance, there is a Lidl one junction up the carriageway. There is a lovely beach on the opposite side of the carriageway.

To be improved

We rented the apartment as two couples but there were too few drinking vessels and the cutlery was sparse. There was also no corkscrew, resulting in us having to push a cork into the bottle to open it (and the resulting red wine stain to a cashmere jumper). When we first arrived, the bedding sheets to change in week 2 were wet and just draped over the air drier. We only managed to access the underground car park once, upon first arrival. Having arrived late at night we dropped our bags and then went straight out to find a supermarket. When we returned the gate fob didn't work. We had little idea of the orientation of the building to access via a pedestrian door so spent an hour trying to get back in and had to jump through a hedgerow to access the compound, followed by climbing a balcony. We highlighted the issue to the rental company immediately and although they promised us they would resolve the issue but didn't, instead passing the responsibility to the property management company. We were unable to park the vehicle inside the compound throughout the holiday meaning food shops had to be carried up the road from where we were able to park. The apartment to the side of us was having work done, which finished at 4pm on 24th December and then re-started at 8.30am on 26th December. A few times we had to bang on the wall when it became too loud. We understand that the work to the next door apartment and the gate fob should be resolved by the time the apartment is next rented out and so hopefully will only have spoilt our holiday but communication by the rental company could be improved.

Nice light flat with a good sized sunny terrace. Huge double bed in main bedroom.

The tv wasn’t connected to anything so no use. Only 3 chairs for the outside table.
