“Good Apartment, Not so great location”

The best

The apartment is good and well equipped, (although we did have to wash plates and glasses before using them!) great views and good space on the balcony, decent sized bedrooms and very comfortable beds and pillows.

To be improved

'Heart attack' hill... location is at the top of a very steep hill. This isn't fully clear in the booking information - no good for anyone with mobility issues. Once you get to the top Calle Castillon you then have 2 sets of steps to navigate before getting to the apartment block to go up to the 3rd floor (there is a lift for this). There is also no name / sign to show you which apartment block this apartment was in, which meant we were wandering up and down the VERY steep street until the property representative came out! The sofa is also very uncomfortable it is low to the ground and very deep making it difficult to get out of, once you actually got down onto the sofa! Again not great for people with limited mobility. Bath towels were small and we could have done with more of them. One bathroom has a shower over the bath which is up 2 steps, again making it difficult for anyone with mobility issues to access, however the 2nd bathroom has a walk in shower. The person who met us at the apartment couldn't speak any English, which meant we had to muddle through with our very basic Spanish. The above info is not meant to be a criticism, we very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment, however if we had known the above, we probably wouldn't have booked to stay here.
