To be improved

The place is very uncomfortable and hot, as it only has a window to the building stairways, which you can't leave it open at night because of security reasons. It also has a big skylight in the livingroom that was open. I could not reach all the way up to close it. This skylight doesn't have shades, so since the bedroom is attached to the living room, I was not able to sleep because of the light at sunrise. The whole place smelled musty, particularly the bedroom closet. The bedsheets had small hairs. TV didn't work and I have to miss Real Madrid playing against Barcelona.

“Decent stay”

The best

The location is great, close to the city center, but on a quiet street. The apartment is big and very nicely decorated, and the bed is comfy, even though the matress is hard. But if you are looking for 2 bedrooms, you're out of luck, since it's a big open space semidivided by walls, with 1 bed, one sleeping sofa and another sofa in the living/dining area. Communication with the host was good. The apartment is situated on the 3rd floor and the building has an elevator (unfortunately, it was out of service for half of our stay here. not exactly a problem, but something to keep in mind if you are not able to climb stairs). It has a dishwasher and a french press for cofee (no expresso machine of coffee). The sheets and towels were clean. There is no washing machine. We did not drive here, but we saw some paid parking garages closeby on the street

To be improved

Beeing an attic, it gets very hot in the afternoon and the AC, as said in other comments, is really dated and feels unclean. Same with the fridge. And as far as cleaning goes, there is a lot that could be improved. When we arrived, the toilet was dirty (I will spare you the gross details, but I will say that there is no toilet brush at all), there was hair in the shower drain and the floors where dusty (the bed blanket was touching the floor around the bed and was collecting all the dust. since it was hot, we did not use it). The kitchen area was ok, but you could tell that the cleaning was superficial. However, there are cleaning products in the kitchen, so for you money you get to stay there and clean it as well. All in all, we felt like there was no cleaning done to the place prior to our arrival, that it is an old apartment nicely decorated, just to catch you eye, a quick fix, just like putting deodorant on a sweating armpit. It would not bankrupt the host to leave some water or coffee/tea in the kitchen for the guests and it would be a nice touch. And really now, a toilet brush is a must! It's really a shame, because the apartment has a cool industrial vibe and if it were cleaner and the host would pay more attention to small details, it could be a great stay
